THE Warrandyte Junior Football Club is eagerly awaiting the start of the 2014 season which kicks off on Sunday, April 6.
With teams in Tackers, Under 10s, Under 11s, Under 12s, Under 13s, Under 14s, Under 15s and Under 17s, almost 200 local children will take the field for the junior Bloods in 2014.
On the back of a very fun season launch at Clifford Park in late February with many players ending the morning caked in mud, training has commenced for all teams.
Coaches have been extremely pleased with the level of enthusiasm, excitement and commitment displayed by all players.
The club is particularly interested in hearing from any boys or girls who wish to play in the Under 10s and boys who might like to be part of this season’s Under 13s or Under 17s.
“With the promise of heaps of good times, fun and fitness with an emphasis on everyone achieving their absolute best, the club would love to welcome any new players into the fold at the Warrandyte Junior Football Club,” president Ross Snowball told the Diary.
